Body, heart and spirit filled practices that make up the tree of yoga, are practiced in order to help us not be mastered by our thoughts, our body or our emotions through consciously breathing through our life. This brings more awareness to the present moment, where time slows down and we find bliss. Worries over the past and anxieties over the future are only in our heads and if we can refocus our perspectives to the present, we can dwell in peace.  By being in community with ourselves, we become less reactive and therefore are more able to connect with others in sustainable ways.
